Background
I am a computer engineer by education, an early-stage researcher by profession, and an ambitious, critical analyst and problem solver in person. My personality traits and education have helped me pursue a career in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and healthcare systems. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila, Pakistan, in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Since 2018, I have been working in AI, healthcare systems, and cybersecurity, with 3.5 years of full-time research experience. My research achievements include 19 publications, an h-index of 14, and a best paper award. My research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), IoT security, human activities and emotion recognition, ubiquitous computing, embedded systems, wearable sensors, machine learning, and data analytics.
Motivation
I am highly excited to pursue my career in the cybersecurity and AI domain, and the DC9 position is a tremendous opportunity for me to make significant contributions in these areas. This Ph.D. project aligns perfectly with my passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. By developing advanced AI and cybersecurity solutions, I aim to enhance the security and efficiency of IoT systems and healthcare applications. This opportunity will allow me to work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and practical application, addressing critical issues in cybersecurity and AI. My long-term goal is to advance the field by developing innovative solutions that improve the safety and reliability of digital systems, contributing to a more secure and intelligent future.
